- The Cass Tech Wrestling system taught through the idea of concepts and movements, not moves.
- Practice will be, for the most part, constantly moving. Eg. Show and go.
- Athletes are fully expected to be solely focused on themselves during practice.
- Working hard is the only option.
- “People rarely succeed unless they have fun in what they are doing.” .. if we’re not having fun, we’re doing it wrong.
- It’s your ability to ward off takedowns, not score them that wins matches.

There are 3 Rules of Cass Tech Wrestling Philosophy:
- In neutral we take our opponent down.
- On top we keep our opponent down.
- On bottom we don’t get held down.
